Senior Solutions (formerly Westhoughton Visiting Service), a registered charity, has been helping older people in Westhoughton and the surrounding districts, since 1997.
Through our dedicated team of volunteers and staff, we work to prevent the damaging effects of loneliness and social isolation.

We are proud to have attained the Queens Award for Voluntary Service excellence.
What We Do
Every person regardless of age, needs to feel valued, respected and that they have a place in their community. However, as people grow older, their health and confidence may deteriorate, and they then find it harder to go out, meet with friends, and enjoy life as they once did.
At Senior Solutions we believe that as people age, they should be enabled, as far as possible, to live life to the full. If you are an older person, you may not be as active as you once were, but through the services we provide, you too can discover that life is still worth living.
What Does It Cost?
This is a free, professional, and confidential service for older people, provided by trained volunteers from the local community. We are very grateful for funding provided by Bolton Council and The National Lottery.
